DESCRIPTION

Peter Lehmann Stonewell Shiraz - This limited release is one of the benchmarks among the full-throttle, rich, flagship red wines of South Australia’s warmer regions and The name Stonewell was chosen in recognition of the high quality shiraz grapes being grown around Stonewell Road in the Marananga district of the Barossa. A wine of immense intensity and muscularity that would demand time in the barrel and bottle before release. The wine was named "Stonewell" after the district that he believed best showed the characters admired most in Barossa Shiraz.

TASTING NOTES

An outstanding wine and atop vintage red wine with deep garnet rim color with deliciously spicy and berry-like, with blackberry and fruitcake, glacé cherry and rum-and-raisin chocolate, the palate lushly-fruited and rich, with abundant tannins—but they’re soft, supple tannins that glide across the tongue. Tremendous length and harmony through to the finish.
