DESCRIPTION
This Indian Singlemalts is a peated variant whisky from Paul John range produced in Goa, India and this particular expression was matured in ex-bourbon barrels before being bottled in 2013 at cask strength without chill filtration.
TASTING NOTES
A burnished gold hue Indian singlemat whisky with aromas of smooth, soft, rich walnut, barley sugar sweets and classic earthy peat notes with a touch of salt on the nose and the crisp Muscovado and Demerara sugars create layered nuances, the smokiness of the Single Malt sets in, creating a perfect balance with a hint of spice radiates from the hickory and Dominican-style cocoa in the mouth. The delicate finish of this Single Malt is medium long and warmish that has notes of Dominican cocoa laced with the tart edge of orange marmalade.
