Omar Black Queen Wine Barrel Finished Cask Strength - This Taiwanese singlemalt special edition whisky was matured in bourbon casks and then re-casked into ex-wine barrels that were used to make Omar's Black Queen Wine - a dark sweet wine. This whisky says the stories of Taiwanese terroir and Nantou Winery.
TASTING NOTES
A dark ruby in the center and bronze in the edge color singlemalt whisky with fresh grape juice, jam, ripened banana, spice and roasted toast followed by dried plum, brown sugar cake and sandalwood on the nose and rich body, immature grape, honey and a hint of smoke taste with round, grape peel, jam and spice at the end.
