Montrouge Châteauneuf Du Pape 750ml

DESCRIPTION

Montrouge Châteauneuf-Du-Pape - This wine is made of Grenache (70%) and Syrah (30%) varietals, which grow on calcareous clay soils covered in pebbles, in the heart of Châteauneuf-Du-Pape AOC. The grapes are carefully destemmed and pressed. These wines are macerated separately during a period of four weeks, with regular racking. Then, they are separately aged in oak casks for twelve months and then blended afterwards.

TASTING NOTES

This French wine displays a striking garnet-red colour with crimson hues and has a wonderfully complex bouquet, offering up notes of ripe cherry, fern and clove. Powerful with silky, delicate tannins, this outstanding wine is distinguished by a remarkable aromatic persistence.
