DESCRIPTION
Laphroaig Select- This singlemalt addition to the Lapphroig core range is a hand selected blend create a unique character from our master distiller carefully draws whisky matured the historic way in Oloroso sherry butts, Pedro Ximinez seasoned hogsheads, and first-fill bourbon quarter casks to create this distinctive blend. The heart is drawn from a final maturation in new, American oak — a rarity in Scotch whisky production — which adds bold flavor.
TASTING NOTES
This fantastic singlemalt whisky has aromas of classic, medicinal peat notes up front, supported by citrus-y, chocolate-y sweet notes and soft barley on the nose with bright notes of lemon, green apples and mint stand out on the palate and with finish of medium length, peat remaining in sight until it's over.
