DESCRIPTION
Handpicked Collection Cabernet Sauvignon - This Australian wine was aged in French oak barriques, 30 per cent new, for 15 months. This fruit was hand-harvested in late March in a selection of our vineyards; the majority was from the Wilyabrup sub-region and there was a parcel from Carbunup. The must was fermented in overhead and open fermenters for up to three weeks. Generally speaking Cabernet Sauvignon is medium to full-bodied with dark fruit flavors and savory tastes.
TASTING NOTES
This dark ruby red hue wine has aromas of flavours of red berries, blackcurrants and spice on the nose with earthy complexity to culminate the wine in a rich and enticing finale, marked by balanced tannins in the mouth.
