DESCRIPTION
Glenlivet Captain's Reserve - This singlemalt whisky is a combination of raisin-rich cognac and signature citrus notes married with the creamy smoothness of our one and only, The Glenlivet. This expression is no-age statement release which first aged in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks and finished its maturation for at least six months in French Limousine oak casks which previously held cognac.
TASTING NOTES
This rich gold hue singlemalt whisky has sweet and fruity aromas of honey and apricot jam, with notes of sweet cinnamon bread and subtle sensation of spicy liquorice on the nose with succulent flavours of mandarins in syrup, ripe poached pears and chocolate-dipped raisins and incredibly smooth and luscious finish.
