DESCRIPTION
Château Haut Gravet St Emilion - This French red wine is jewel of the Aubert family vineyards, owners of the Chateau Haut Gravet that have produced an exceptional wine in LA Croix Fourche. Using old vines growing in a particularly fine graved soil, this cuvee comes from a vineyard surrounded by the great names of Saint-Emilion in the Southern part of the appellation. Aged, depending on the vintage, between 18 and 20 months in French oak barrel,

TASTING NOTES

This deep ruby wine has aromas of fruity and offers a very fine intensity/power, heavy on florals and secondary / tertiary characteristics including saddle leather, tobacco, and vanilla, with underlying hints of red fruit on the nose with notes of small wild berries, lily, lilac, small notes of juicy/pulpy wild strawberry associated with fine hints of cardamom, spices in the mouth and dry with short finish.
