Benriach 13YO - This Singlemalt was matured in American oak finished in Madeira casks also known as "Maderensis Fumosus" (smoky Madeira in Latin) and a well peated whisky.
TASTING NOTES
This sunlight color singlemalt whisky has waves of peat, very full and robust. Touch of dark sweetness perhaps, darkly fruity on the nose with Steady smoke starts the show strongly and stays with you all the way, remains sophisticated in the back. Slightly peaty and tropically fruity with vanilla on the palate and dark and fruity with bitter-sweet peat at the end.
