Auchentoshan Three Wood - This singlemalt whisky was distilled and matured in three different cask types from American bourbon to Spanish Oloroso Sherry and finally in Pedro Ximenes Sherry Cask. Three Wood makes a cracking Auchentoshan & Ale, a mean Old Fashioned and a damn fine dram in its own right.
TASTING NOTES
This award winning singlemlat whisky has an golden brown colour with aromas of blackcurrant, brown sugar, orange, plum and raisin notes on the nose and fruit and syrup, hazelnut with hints of cinnamon and lemon on the tongue. A fresh and fruity, smooth whisky with long lasting oaky sweetness at the end.
