Suntory Roku Gin 700ml

DESCRIPTION

Suntory Roku Gin - This Japanese craft gin roku - which means "six" in Japanese, is distilled from general neutral base of grain and the first gin released by Suntory. This was released in Japan in July 2017 with six Japanese botanicals, sakura flower, Sakura leaf, Yuzu peel, Sencha tea (green tea), Gyokuro tea (refined green tea) and Sanshō pepper, cultivated over four seasons and each botanical has been harvested at the peak of its season to extract the best flavour. The label is printed with Japanese washi paper and crafted by meticulous and detailed Japanese artisans.

TASTING NOTES

A Japanese fuller-bodied gin with delicate aroma notes of green tea citron and pepper quickly passes and dissipates on the nose and a vivid note of bitter citrus and smokey leaves, with a palate drying and striking bitterness closer to something like Suze with bitter note becomes evocative of gentian root and wormwood on the finish
