DESCRIPTION
Jose Cuervo Especial Gold - This golden-style woven tequila is produced by the famous Jose Cuervo company, made from a blend of reposado (aged) and unaged blanco Tequilas. Jose Cuervo makes its tequilas using a combination of traditional and modern methods. Especial Gold was used to make the first ever Margarita, and this well-balanced and smooth expression still is the perfect tequila for that beloved cocktail.
TASTING NOTES
A bright medium yellow/gold colour with aromas of freshly ground peppercorn, spice and orange peel with earth and charred oak notes on the nose and mixed spices, toasted oak, agave and a herbal character, creamy, slightly tangy palate. The finish is slightly oaky, spicy at the end.
