DESCRIPTION

Dewar's 12YO - This Scottish whisky is married in oak casks after the initial maturation and blending. It is called "Double Aged" due to the 6 months of marrying in oak casks and one of the world's most awarded whiskies, recently winning the Monde Grand Gold across their range.

TASTING NOTES

A caramel hue Scottish whisky that has aromas of juicy fruit and thick, creamy malt. Rather floral, and quite sweet with notes of toasted barley, almond and a tinge of honey on the nose and the palate is perfectly poised with notes of barley malt, hot buttered toast, a little honey, and some aniseed spiciness in the mouth. It finishes with touch of smoke on the tail, alongside plenty of thick malt and sweetness at the end.
