DESCRIPTION
Tomintoul Peaty Tang - A peaty singlemalt whisky from the Tomintoul distillery released in late 2007. This expression has been made with peated malt barley to give it a deep smoky flavour. This makes “Peaty Tang” very unusual, most distilleries in the Speyside region do not use peat.
TASTING NOTES
This expression has a gold color with very malty. Barley, draff and porridge all wrapped in a delicate smoke on the nose and a malt, peat, cocoa, iodine, olde time candy, vanilla and orchard fruit tip-toe their way across trailed by a honied mist taste and a long sugary fizz at the end.
