DESCRIPTION
Tomintoul 16YO - This Singlemalt Scotch whisky from the Tomintoul distillery was crafted by fourth generation distiller, Robert Fleming and matured in selected bourbon casks. Known as the “gentle dram,” the distillery is surrounded by fresh air and pure water, these elements are imparted onto their whiskies, giving them a special Highland character. This whisky is aged 16 years with soft and nutty, with a pleasant richness.
TASTING NOTES
A singlemalt whisky with medium-bodied and punchy, notes of stemmy cut hay and dried grasses, a leafy green note and a touch of rooty earth and fudge on the nose and notes of boiled sweets, espresso, mochaccino, ground almonds and granary toast with melted butter on the palate. It finishes in good length with notes almond and barley sugar.
