Tomintoul 15YO - This Scotch Speyside singlemalt whisky from the Tomintoul distillery was matured in special Portwood casks finish for a long amount of time in order to bring out its sweet characteristics.
TASTING NOTES
This Portwood Finish singlemalt whisky has aromas of blueberry, scones and clotted cream, peppery oak and tobacco and then comes the palate, with notes of sweet barley, quince, caramel, Chewie sweets and red wine. The finish is medium length with damsons, zest, red grape and a little butterscotch sweets.
