Talisker 25 - A singlemalt Scotch whisky from Talisker distillery that was predominantly matured in American oak hogsheads with some European oak refill. The whisky continues the reputation for greatness and carefully balancing the distillery's seaside, salt and pepper character against elegant oak and delicate fruity notes, it's a masterclass in ageing with a delightfully old-fashioned air. A truly spectacular whisky from the beautiful island of Skye.
TASTING NOTES
This excellent singlemalt whisky has aromas of banana fritters, sea spray, old oak furniture, cider apples, a whiff of Frazzles, all held together with crumbly fudge notes on the nose with notes of salted caramel, chilli chocolate, smoky barley and nectarines on the palate and with an undercurrent of cedar. smoke becomes sweet on the finish.
