DESCRIPTION
Six Isles - This Blended malt whisky from Ian Macleod is a blend of single malts from the six Scottish islands, Islay, Jura, Skye, Mull, Orkney and Arran are all represented in this blended Scotch whisky. Islay whisky provides the peaty kick, while Orkney provides the heather and honey notes. This expression is uncoloured and non-chill-filtered.
TASTING NOTES
This blended malt whisky has soft heathery smoke notes, with oat cakes and sea salt in support. Fruity notes of apple and apricot on the nose with Oily malt with vanilla and buttered bread, plus more salty notes and smoldering peat on the palate and A balanced finish of brown sugar and savory oak.
