DESCRIPTION
This exotic Indian Singlemalt Select Cask whisky was first aged for about 5 years in 1st fill ex-bourbon barrels before spending 2 years in the PX casks and it is not chill-filtered. The intrinsic characteristics of the Paul John PX owes allegiance to the famed intensely sweet and dark Spanish dessert sherry, having been gloriously finished in handpicked Pedro Ximenez casks.
TASTING NOTES
A dark copper hue singlemalt whisky with aromas of Fig and apricot with a rare hint of banana and the tremendous flavours of sweet barley with creamy butterscotch, dry fruits and a profuse Christmas cake on the mouth. It finishes in long and exquisite, with chocolate fudge, orange peel and exotic wine drenched nuts.
