DESCRIPTION
Oban 21 Years - This natural cask strength singlemalt whisky from the Oban Distillery was part of Diageo's Special releases and matured in rejuvenated American Oak and second-fill ex-Bodega casks. Oban bottlings outside of its core range are few and far between, so it's always exciting to see something new from the distillery in the Highlands.
TASTING NOTES
This expression has a nose of nice sweet toffee and buttery pastry notes at first with blood orange and raspberry, before there's cinnamon spice, pepper and a nuttiness that smooths the whole thing out.and really quite long and defined by that juicy orange vibe at the end..
