Macallan Rare Cask, 2022 Release - This singlemalt whisky is aged from fine and rare oak barrels previously worked with Sherry oak. These hand-selected casks are rare and special discovery which exhibit an intense sweet raisin note coupled with an incredibly rich, smooth complexity.
TASTING NOTES
These rare casks have a 100% natural deep ruby mahogany colour, soft notes of vanilla with rich raisin, followed by a sweet fusion of fresh apple, lemon and orange on the nose and An intense sweet raisin dominates before giving way to vanilla and dark chocolate, with layers of light citrus zest on the palate and An intense sweet raisin dominates before giving way to vanilla and dark chocolate, with layers of light citrus zest with long, rich and velvety at the end.
