DESCRIPTION
Macallan Edition No. 5 - This fifth annual edition release from the Macallan series has been aged in a variety of American oak casks. This whisky is inspired by coming together of whisky making mastery and colour expertise and insight ,to celebrates both The Macallan’s commitment to natural colour and the intricate whisky making process. Macallan teamed up with Pantone to create a rather fetching shade of purple which features on the label and presentation box.
TASTING NOTES
A sunlight barley hue whisky with aromas of vanilla and toffee with notes of oak, nutmeg, ginger, lemon basil and pear and Extremely smooth on the palate, with more dried fruits, ripe plums, milk chocolate, new leather, and black pepper with medium in length, with leather and dark chocolate finish.
