DESCRIPTION
Louis Royer VSOP - This cognac is known for a wide range of quality cognacs and Pineau from all six terroirs of the Cognac growing region, the offices and cellars of Louis Royer remain in the town of Jarnac on the banks of the Charente River where they were set up over 150 years ago. Using traditional copper pot stills to create their unaged ‘Eau-de-Vie’ and by ageing in oak barrels, sustainably harvested from France’s famous Limousin forests.
TASTING NOTES
A deep amber hue cognac with a lovely twirl of apricots, plums, peaches, oak, leather and tobacco on the nose and a hint of cocoa emerges, followed by vanilla and wood leading to a distinguished note of oak on the finish.
