DESCRIPTION
Laphroaig Quarter Cask - This Isle of singlemalt whisky is double matured in small sized quarter casks for a few months after 5 years of resting in ex- bourbon barrels. Aging in smaller barrels revives an old tradition, paying tribute to the master distillers who have perfected the Laphroaig process over two centuries.
TASTING NOTES
This full sparkling gold hue singlmalt whisky has aromas of burning embers of peat in a crofter's fireplace, hints of coconut and banana on the nose and deep,complex whisky with flavors of smoky peat and subtle sweetness on the palate with really long, and dries appropriately with smoke and spice at the end.
