DESCRIPTION
Isle of Jura Prophecy - This single malt Scotch whisky is matured in French Limousine oak cask and finished in 1989 Oloroso sherry butts from Gonzalez Byass. A strongly-peated whisky with phenolic level of 35 ppm and released in small batches, a fine malt with deep, complex flavors that anyone from a beginner to an expert could appreciate.
TASTING NOTES
This dram has a copper-like color with an aroma of spicy sea spray and treacle, banana bread on the nose and lush full bodied rich sweet notes lead to dry palate dry barley notes and huge gusts of smoke in the mouth. Long, with punchy, dry peat smoke and dry herbal notes finish.
