DESCRIPTION
Isle of Jura 1995 - This non chilled single malt whisky is part of distillery's Boutique Barrels series and finished in small batch bourbon cask. Distilled in 1995 and bottled at full cask strength.
TASTING NOTES
This light amber whisky has an aroma of intense vanilla, toffee, caramel, fudge, pear and apple, more vanilla and sweet orange on the nose and grapefruits, with a pear, an apple and ripe orange, there is bitterness and taste of wood. The finish is medium long medium long with traces of bitterness and wood, extends through the addition of water, there is also grapefruit and orange peel.
