DESCRIPTION
Cardhu 15YO - This very rare singlemalt whisky was aged for 15 years was released in the summer of 1989 bottled at cask strength and reveal its delicate, fruity and rich character, repaying thoughtful contemplation. Cardhu is presented in an elegant decanter with a beechwood stopper and is pretty typical of a Speyside malt.
TASTING NOTES
This elegant expression from Speysider Cardhu has a deep old gold color with delightful aroma and extremely smoky with exceptionally balanced in flavour on the palate with smooth, light and slightly drying, with attractive bitter chocolate notes. Not overly long, with a hint of faint smoke at the end.
