DESCRIPTION
Singleton Dufftown 21 year old - This Singlemalt expression showcases the expertise of its Master of Malts, Maureen Robinson from the Dufftown Distillery in Speyside, Scotland and through careful cask selection, retains a perfect balance between distillery character and long maturation. Uniting a trio of different cask styles – Oloroso seasoned Pedro-Ximenez casks and ex-bourbon casks are hand-selected from the Dufftown archives and the single malt is married in European Oak casks, thus following the Singleton's 'Trinity Cask Harmony' process.
TASTING NOTES
An exceptional 21 year old expression with sophisticated fruity aromas and flavours of fruit sweets, treacle toffee, fudge and burnt orange, which perfectly complement The Singleton’s famous rounded smoothness. It’s sweet and creamy-smooth on the palate with a deliciously long, dry finish.
