Macallan Double Cask 18 Years Old -This another fantastic sherries singlemalt from the Speyside distillery, was released as part of the Double Cask series .This whiskies are aged in two types of oak, a combination of both American and European oak casks in specially selected hand-crafted casks seasoned with dry Oloroso sherry. The two exceptional whiskies unite to create a distinctive single malt with a sweeter, warmer taste and character.
TASTING NOTES
A fully rounded singlemalt whisky with amber honey color that has aromas of dried fruit, ginger, toffees, rich orange with hints of clove and nutmeg on the nose and Rich raisin and sultana with notes of caramel, vanilla and ginger, balanced by wood spice and zesty citrus on the palate with warm oak spice with ginger, turning to sweet orange on the finish.
