DESCRIPTION

Aberfeldy 12YO - This single malt scotch whisky is aged in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon cask, re-fill and re-char casks. This whisky is a honeyed dram with notes of fruit, scented with spices and honeyed plump fruits and it has a 12 year age statement, which is not a guarantee but a reassurance.

TASTING NOTES

A warm gold hue whisky with a lovely aroma of dried apricot and red apple, notes of oak and barley in the background with hints of toffee on the nose and the palate is peppery, with wood and cereal, notes of honeyed sweetness and malt with hints of sherried fruit in the taste. The finish is smooth adding to the ease of drinking this Highland sipper.
